At ShutterWise we appreciate that not everyone’s tastes are the same that’s why are shutter frames are available in a range of different styles. Your shutters will be fitted in one of three ways:
Inside recess
Edge of recess
Outside recess

Our team will be able to advice on options and limitations at the sales or survey appointment.

We offer a choice of 5 different louvre sizes as well as both flat and elliptical louvres from 47mm to 114mm. Our shutter panels can be configured with centre, offset or hidden tilt rods.

Ideal for out of reach areas such as velux windows or large spaning windows our shutter panels can be fitted with a remote control allowing the louvers to be operated by the touch of a button. The battery packs can even be manufactured to allow the batteries to be solar rechargeable.

All of our shutter hinges our enamel coated as opposed to painted, which means that they are more hardwearing and less likely to chip and loose they’re coating. Our hinges are available in 9 finishes, Antique Brass, Bright Brass, Black, Nickel Plated, Stainless Steel, Brushed Nickel Plated, White, Pearl and Bisque.

Roof catches; handles; ring pulls and security bolts can also be fitted to all of our shutters.

Not all colour’s are available in all the materials – please check or contact us and we would be happy to advise.

All of our shutters are hand sprayed and receive a total of 6 separate coats. The final coat being a clear lacquer finish with a built-in ultraviolet sunscreen to held protect the shutters from fading.

Our plantation shutters are available in 28 contemporary colours and 20 stains, which come in gloss, standard and matt finishes. 9 of our standard paint finishes are a colour match to popular Farrow and Ball colours.
